Unlike Christianity, where gender is a part of God’s creation, Buddhists see genderisation as a sign of decay. In the Buddhist version of the Genesis, Agga-asutta (also known as the Aphorism on the Knowledge of the Beginning), male and female genders were a part of the fall. Originally, the primordial ancestors of humans were self-luminous, mind-born and sexless. So the mind is supreme and sexless, which is consistent with the higher form of existence. The most important principle to derive from that is there is no superiority of one gender over the other. The first sin among them which perpetuated the fall was the prejudice of appearance, when those of brighter skin looked down on those with darker skin.

Comment: Criticism of the differences of the sexes apparently has been around for a long time. Yet, when God created man and woman, he was able to say "It is good."
The devil tries to destroy everything that is good. He makes men and women complain about how the other thinks and does things differently. But God created men and women differently so that we would compliment each other with our differences... especially in procreation. A man needs a woman to produce a child... and that child is produced by the most intimate expression of love between two human beings!
But the devil promotes the differences and wars between men and women. He does it through false religions, which would claim that the differences of the sexes are a product of sin.
Evolution would throw God out altogether... and would say that a lot of differences between boys and girls are adaptations forced from the cave-dwelling days. Without divine ordinance being involved in our differences, marriage can be twisted and the roles of man and woman can be wiped out.
And much of the Christian community is more willing to listen to false religion and atheism, rather than base their understanding of the natural order on God's Word. What happens then? We don't rejoice in God's blessings, but rather complain about God-created differences and try to overright them according to modern culture's concept.

A Sunday school teacher was carefully explaining the story of Elijah the Prophet and the false prophets of Baal. She explained how Elijah built the altar, put wood upon it, cut the steer in pieces, and laid it upon the altar. And then, Elijah commanded the people of God to fill four barrels of water and pour it over the altar. He had them do this four times.
“Now,” said the teacher, “can anyone in the class tell me why the Lord would have Elijah pour water over the steer on the altar?”
A little girl in the back of the room started waving her hand, “I know! I know!” she said, “To make the gravy!”

(Jerusalem) Archaeologists digging at the purported biblical home of Goliath have unearthed a shard of pottery bearing an inscription of the Philistine’s name, a find they claimed lends historical credence to the Bible’s tale of David’s battle with the giant.
“What this means is that at the time there were people there named Goliath,” he said. “It shows us that David and Goliath’s story reflects the cultural reality of the time.” In the story, David slew Goliath with a slingshot.
Some scholars assert the story of David slaying the giant Goliath is a myth written down hundreds of years later. Maeir said finding the scraps lends historical credence to the biblical story.
The shard dates back to around 950 B.C., within 70 years of when biblical chronology asserts David squared off against Goliath, making it the oldest Philistine inscription ever found, the archaeologists said.
Scientists made the discovery at Tel es-Safi, a dig site in southern Israel thought to be to be the location of the Philistine city of Gath.
